Inter-Rueda was established in 1955, as one of the first wheels and casters manufacturers in Argentina. The founder, Mr. José Sánchez, is the current Chairman of Inter-Rueda S.A. Originally known as "Ruedas Sánchez", the company started producing wheels and casters in rubber and sheet metal. Then, the product was developed and, with the use of modern and highly-sophisticated manufacturing technologies, the company started producing wheels in innovative plastic materials.
In 1993, Inter-Rueda S.A. was incorporated, occupying 5 lots over 1,500m2, in Saenz Peña, Province of Buenos Aires, close to the Federal Capital city. The company has the necessary technology to design and produce both the plastic and the metal components of wheels and casters.
Wheels and casters are wholly made in-house: production steps include: sheet metal cutting, forks and bolts stamping, plastic injection, steel and iron machining and finally, assembly of the wheel or caster. The permanent stock enables the company to quickly supply customers upon request.
Our customers are mostly door and furniture hardware and fittings stores, supermarkets, hardware stores´ distributors and furniture manufacturers.
Inter-Rueda´s main products are wheels and casters for furniture: from the traditional plastic dual-wheel in different diameters up to high-tech and sophisticated-designed casters with steel double ball bearing swivel head and dual brake function.
We are now introducing three new lines of products: plastic sheets to organize CDs, DVDs and video tapes, also adjustable glides for office furniture and industrial casters.
The company is currently participating in FITECMA 2005 exposition to introduce the complete product line of plastic and rubber and also stainless steel industrial wheels and casters in 80mm and 100mm diameter, with swivel base or the bolt-hole pattern. It also introduces the heat-resistant wheel for carts to be put in the oven. These new casters are ideal for industrial carts and satisfy the needs of gastronomic industry, cold-storage plants, bakeries, etc.
Among the new products we also offer techno carob-like and beech wooden wheels, which are suitable for design furniture, with forks offered in different finishes as for example, zinc-plated, chromed, matte-chromed or black epoxi painted.
